Since 2002 we have been on the cutting edge of changes in many areas of ministry, leadership and education. Now, we have the opportunity to impact the way we view the world through INTERNET TV.
In 1992 when I first discovered the joys of surfing the internet, to my first web site which was developed to advertise our church, it has been an amazing journey. I had many firsts in those days regarding web development. The first web for my church. The first web for my work. The first web for my volunteer organization.
At work we used the interent to start to network with members all across the nation which was fairly impossible other than direct mail or telephone calling. For mass calling we used the Phone Tree which automatically dialed each number with a pre-recorded message. It was innovative then, but today it would be considered a nuisance or a sales call and you would probably be dinged on the "do not call list.'
This is why Internet TV is so exciting. In 1996 I started to buy domain names. They were really expensive for someone with very little income. But today, domain names are really cheap. Imagine if you had bought the domain "free.com," or "happy.com" today they sell for over $1000.
My goal since 2012 was to develop a Media and Ministry Certificate courses for men and women in the industry who did not complete their education and for newbies who want to get their feet wet in the broadcasting industry. In 2013, the opportunity arrived and today we are owners of Promise Broadcasting Network. We can produce great programs and test new ideas in broadcasting not only for regular cable or satellite broadcasting but for the Internet as well.
My goal is now to develop Internet channels with quality shows that can been viewed by people with cell phones all over the world. The potential viewers are over 3 billion.
God has given the Marketplace of Ideas to the body of Christ! He wakes us up in the middle of the night with solutions and innovative technology that can change the world. As part of the Masters Marketplace our promise, as in Promise Broadcasting network, is to use the resources and the blessings He gives to us to reach the world for Jesus Christ.
We are looking for men and women who share that same passion and who would like to join Promise Broadcasting Network and build their own channel on the internet. If Direct and Dish can have over 250 channels to watch, why can't Promise Broadcasting Network do the same.
